All are dressed in early 20th century bathing costumes. The two women, Lena and Martha, are seated and wear knee-length dresses, stockings, slippers, and caps. The children wear sleeveless jumpers and are barefoot. Not addressed or postmarked. Printed on reverse is "ABANANZA STUDIOS / Atlanta Ga & Wrightsville Beach N. C. / Fotos Anything - Anywhere - Anytime". The author of the inscription on reverse is probably Martha Elizabeth Haworth.

Transcription of message handwritten in ink on reverse:
Dear Cousins this is one site I never once thought of seeing or sending out I wish you were here to see the sight [Lena?] thee ought to see the stile we see nothing but water [?] stile men & women in bathing look like so many rats love to all M. H[?]
