Contains two photographs of Fairview Street School's baseball team, one of a soldier in formation, and sixteen of African-American Boy Scouts in camp and other activities. |Additional Information||The Boy Scout trip depicted in this album may be the one cited in Glenn Chavis' book "Our Roots, Our Branches, Our Fruit". In September 1927, scoutmaster Ossie E. Davis and twenty scouts took their first-ever encampment at High Rock Lake for one week. Free transportation was provided by the High Point, Thomasville & Denton Railroad.|
