My old chum: Your card rece'd recently. Much appreciated. Am sorry you haven't been feeling well, but I daresay you were completely exhausted after your trip. I have a friend in N.Y. who wrote me she would have been glad if you could have called on her. Am expecting Rex home tomorrow or next day. Certainly will be glad to see him, after three long months. Have been right busy sewing - am going to make my skirt next week [to?] my [coat?] suit and Madame Hancock is going to tailor my coat. Lovingly Bess
