Summary Photographic postcard, black and white, snapshot of a young child, Barbara, laying on the deck of the SS Oceania. The child, approximately 2 years old, has short, curly hair and wears a heavy coat. She lays on her stomach on a large game board (possibly for shuffleboard) printed with large numbers and holds a set of large disks in her hand. Wooden deck chairs are to the right. Handwritten in black ink across top of obverse is "learning to coat on board / ship". Handwritten in black ink on reverse is "Any attitude on / board suits me / I am never ill / A game of biliards / is very interestin[g] / B[?]".
